Yep. Mine is very much an on-going restoration... I was lucky to find a very reasonably priced truck almost in my back yard, and was doubly lucky that it still has many of its original parts, including the cargo bed.

Yep. I've got one over here in little ol' England :D . Still very much a work in progress, but it should be ready for this years show season 8)

Paul, I looked at all of your pictures. You have put a lot of work into this restoration. It is something to be proud of.

Thank you, and yes when it is finished I will be dead proud to be driving it and being able to say at shows " I did that" 8)

What kind of bed was on the Chevy gunnery trainer trucks?

thinking about building one but need more info on what type of truck bed to have as a a starting point.

I have one as well. Currently working on the frame, then the cab, then the cargo body.
